Ag Apprentices at Rock Bottom Ranch receive hands-on training in all aspects of production farming.

Livestock Apprentices are involved with everything from lambing, arrival of baby chicks, daily livestock management, livestock and pasture health, poultry slaughter and product sales. Vegetable Apprentices are also exposed to the entire production of vegetables from seed to sale including: seeding, irrigation, transplanting, cultivating, trellising, harvesting, washing and sales. The entire team works together at Rock Bottom on various projects and tasks, so apprentices will also be exposed to both productions, regardless what their focus is. We take careful time in explaining the why, not just the how.
